Anthony R. DeChello concentrates in the areas of corporate, commercial and real estate law, and litigation. He handles personal injury as well as commercial litigation matters including shareholder/partner/member disputes, commercial collection and foreclosure litigation as well as creditor's rights in bankruptcy. 

He represents clients in the formation, merger, acquisition and dissolution of business entities, the preparation of corporate and commercial agreements, the purchase, sale and lease of business assets and real estate. He also represents borrowers and lenders in commercial loan and commercial real estate transactions.

He represents lenders and borrowers in loan workouts and the collection of commercial accounts and the foreclosure of both residential and commercial real estate mortgages.  He represents owners of real estate and businesses and advises clients in matters ranging from acquisitions, leasing, and licensing to business and estate planning. He has taught courses on commercial and real estate law for the American Institute of Banking.

Attorney DeChello is currently a Member and Director of the Notre Dame High School Loyalty and Endowment Corporation and a past Director of the Notre Dame High School Board of Directors.  He also serves on the North Haven Board of Education and formerly served as a Councilman at Large on the Hamden Legislative Council, and a Director of the Hamden Chamber of Commerce.

Attorney DeChello graduated from Stonehill College in Massachusetts and obtained a Juris Doctor Degree from Notre Dame Law School in Indiana in 1985.  He is admitted to practice in State and Federal Court in Connecticut.
