Issues we have addressed: conservation easements, land trust acquisitions, open space restrictions, density, affordable housing, environmental and administrative injunctive relief, historic district, enforceability of permit conditions, hazardous waste, solid waste, sanitary systems and groundwater pollution.
Our clients range from the nation's largest developers seeking to construct large retail projects to individual property owners attempting to obtain permission to build a garage for their home. Some of the projects we have been involved with include Stop & Shop in North Haven, Target, Toll Brothers, etc.
In addition to representing parties on land use issues and environmental issues at the agency level, we also have experience in taking and defending administrative appeals through the trial court and appellate levels. Our Firm successfully represents clients in appeals before the Connecticut Supreme Court in matters pertaining to planning and zoning issues.
