MUNICIPAL LAW

The Pellegrino Law Firm enjoys a long history of municipal representation. As Special Counsel, we have represented the Mayor of Hamden in real estate transactions. Our firm has also been Special Counsel to the Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of North Haven, representing the agencies in a complicated land use/environmental problem involving hazardous waste and the enforceability of permit conditions. On behalf of North Haven, we have also represented the Water Pollution Control Authority in several matters as well as the Zoning Enforcement Officer in numerous enforcement actions. The firm has also defended tax appeals on behalf of the North Haven Tax Assessor.

We have been counsel to the Planning and Zoning Commission of Clinton and have served in that capacity on behalf of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Essex for a number of years. The Firm has also been counsel to the City Plan Department and Board of Zoning Appeals in New Haven, Town Counsel for the Town of Guilford and, as special labor counsel for the Town of Shelton.
