Biography

Attorney Giacomo Tolomeo is a full-service transactional lawyer who prides himself on partnering with his clients and their businesses to build solid relationships while providing sound and trusted legal advice. His areas of concentration include Real Estate (Residential and Commercial), Landlord/Tenant disputes, Contracts, Business Law, Tax matters, Bankruptcy, and Probate and Estate Planning.

Giacomo attended the University of Connecticut (UCONN) Storrs campus and graduated in 1995, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1999. After Graduation, Giacomo began his career with KPMG and went on to hold positions of increasing responsibility with other prestigious firms such as Arthur Anderson, Cummings & Lockwood, and Weinstein and Anastasio. During this period, he developed a wide range of legal and tax competencies, working directly with some of the area's most respected partners, managers, and specialists. Prior to joining The Pellegrino Law Firm, Giacomo established a reputable and respected full service law firm where he gained valuable transactional law experience.

As a Lawyer and Accountant, Attorney Giacomo Tolomeo brings his clients a full-service, one-stop source approach, whether it’s assisting clients with their financial growth, success and preservation or helping them through their financial struggles. As his client’s transactional lawyer, he can assist them with matters involving several different scenarios that may crossover into many legal practice areas. This approach avoids the frustration and high costs of hiring a number of different law firms that can only handle one facet of the law and who are not familiar with their client’s overall needs. Being there for his clients from the beginning and having first-hand knowledge of all their legal transactions establishes a thorough representation, which reinforces a strong attorney-client bond.

Giacomo is also a college professor of Business Law at Quinnipiac University. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Connecticut.
