Our Past
Founded by the late Bernard Pellegrino (1905-1984) in 1929, The Pellegrino Law Firm has a rich history of being a "law firm for life". Mr. Pellegrino represented many Italian immigrants in the early days of the firm, and developed longstanding relationships with families and businesses throughout New Haven. Founded on his ideals of honesty and integrity, the practice continued to grow in the 1950's when his sons, Bernard Jr. and Joseph were admitted to the Connecticut bar and began to practice law.
Our Present
Today, we are known for representing generations of family's businesses and individuals. The children, grandchildren (and great grandchildren) of the firm's early clients still call on us for provident advice and professional legal services. Our team includes 10 attorneys whose deep and diverse legal experience allows us to meet our clients' varied needs in a broad range of practice areas.
